There must be something in the water in Sydney what with the tidal wave of bare bones garage bands dominating the warehouse and backyard party scenes of the inner-city. From Royal Headache & The Straight Arrows to Bed Wettin’ Bad Boys and The Knits to wonder kids, Bloods. Two girls, one guy and echoes of the UK C86 sound and 1980’s pop-punk. It ain’t new but it’s perfectly fresh. Dig it.
